Welcome back, aspiring corporate escapees and entrepreneurs!
A few weeks ago, I sat down for my first guest podcast interview and my hands were shaking right before. For a second I thought, why am I this nervous? I’ve coached executives through harder moments than this.
But then it hit me.
It’s different when it’s your story. When you’re not just shaping the message but you’re the one behind the mic, sharing the heart of what you’ve built.
That moment brought me back to my roots and what this month represents for me. As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, I've been reflecting on how everything meaningful I’ve built has come from community... from people who showed up, shared ideas, or offered encouragement when I needed it most.
And that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking about lately as I work with founders who have the vision, the talent, and the drive, but are trying to do it all themselves.
This month’s Stitch is about what happens when you stop building alone, how community and systems create sustainable growth, and why having the right support around you changes everything.

🪡 When Your Thread Gets Tangled
I had a call a couple weeks ago with a founder who asked me something that stopped me in my tracks:
Do you think it's okay to show up at a networking event even though I don't have my business cards or business concept fully developed?
My answer? Absolutely! You're building, and there's power in embracing that. Bringing people along your journey, that in itself is power. It will never be perfect, so just start. My very first $50k client came to me before I had my business name or website... and I still don't have business cards myself!
Your elevator pitch doesn't need to list everything you do. People won't remember your bullet points, but they will remember how you made them feel.
Instead of saying "Hi, I do this, this, and this," tell them a story. Talk about your audience, their pain points, the transformation you create and why you're so passionate about this work. That's where connection happens. That's where conversations flow naturally.
✨🎯 The Bridge Between Vision and Structure: Fractional Chief of Staff
Remember how I said everything I've built came from community and support? Owning your story is only half the equation. The other half is having the systems that bring it to life every day.
After 15+ years guiding C-level executives, I’ve learned that you can have the most beautiful brand story in the world, but if you don't have the systems to support it, the processes, the organization, the way you execute your vision, you'll still show up scattered.
That’s where my Fractional Chief of Staff work comes in. It’s the bridge between strategy and execution, the space where your Golden Thread truly comes alive.
I help founders:
✔ turn scattered ideas into structured plans
✔ build systems that keep messaging and operations aligned
✔ create space to lead and grow with clarity
Like what?
Managing your content calendar and keeping messaging consistent
Building SOPs so your team knows what to do without asking you
Running weekly strategic planning so nothing falls through the cracks
Taking projects from "great idea" to "actually done"
Being your thought partner when you need to talk through big decisions
If you’ve been trying to do it all yourself, you don’t have to. I offer Fractional Chief of Staff partnerships ranging from five hours a week for focused strategy and structure to twenty hours a week for deeper integration into your business.
If you’re ready to create systems that match your vision…
🎙️Featured on Poder Latina CEO Podcast
Remember that podcast interview I mentioned that had me nervous? It went live this week, and I'm so grateful I said yes.
I had the honor of being featured on the Poder Latina CEO podcast with Elisa Molina for a virtual ☕ Cafecito con Jefas during Hispanic Heritage Month. We talked about my journey from that third grade classroom where I didn't speak English to the Fortune 100 boardrooms, and why I left corporate to empower founders through Thread Studio.
We discussed:
Why I treat branding like Mexican artisan craft, thread by thread
The moment I became a single mom and found clarity in the chaos
How my immigrant story became my strategic advantage
What it means to build a business that honors your heritage while creating something new
The episode dropped this week, and hearing myself share my story reminded me why vulnerability matters. When we own our full journey, we give others permission to do the same.
Thank you to Covedoza for this beautiful feature!
🎯The Strategy Stitch
Ask yourself:
If I had the right support system in place, what could I finally make space for?
That question changes everything.

🪡 The Stitch to Remember
You don’t need to do it all alone. Start showing up. Let your systems catch up to your story. And never forget, your Golden Thread is already there. You just have to follow it.
P.S. That nervousness I felt before the podcast interview? It reminded me why this work matters. Do the thing that feels uncomfortable, even when it's scary. Take up space. Start before you feel ready. You never know who you're inspiring just by showing up. That's exactly what I want to help you do in the workshop on November 12.
